Mr. Lindamuth described Mathcon Club, Club America and an Elizabeth Town Design and Print Studio; Club America and the Design Studio expect to fundraise and not require district support, while Mathcon’s application form was inconsistent and the administration could not recommend approval until the form is corrected.
Mrs. Bizarian summarized donations from Capital Blue Cross (planners for middle school and Bear Creek), Serendipity Flower Farms ($1,417 toward facility dogs), and Elizabeth Town Area Communities that Care (1,333 'Pause and Think' shirts). She recommended acceptance of the donations.
Finance staff reviewed a one-year, cost-reimbursable renewal with Mets Culinary Management (the state requires annual approval for the five-year vendor arrangement) and a five-year Penn State Health agreement for two trainers and physician services; Mr. Strickler said the two full-time trainers are budgeted at roughly $69,600 over five years and that families are not required to use Penn State physicians for off-campus care. The board was told administration will follow required PTE submission processes for vendor approvals.
No final votes on the clubs or contracts were recorded at the workshop beyond the traffic-control contract; Mathcon will resubmit corrected paperwork for approval.
