"Our fund balance ... is up to about $46 million now for the general fund through December and nutrition is approximately 4 million," presenter Mr. Jones told the board. He said the district received about $36 million in tax revenue in December and that state revenues run roughly $5–$6 million per month.
Mr. Jones described the district's investment schedule and said about $90 million is invested in Georgia Fund One. For the board’s single action item the meeting packet recommended placing Dr. Donald Warren as a signatory on those accounts and removing the prior superintendent. The resolution was moved and seconded and approved 5-0.
Board presenters explained that the technical signatory change will be processed through an electronic workflow and that board members should expect to receive digital approval requests to finalize the bank and state account signatory updates.
