The Laguna Beach Unified School District Board on Thursday voted 5-0 to adopt the meeting agenda and then recessed into a closed session to discuss labor negotiations, personnel matters and an insurance claim.
Board members took roll at the start of the meeting; Mrs. Weber conducted the roll, and Members Kelly, Hills and Balcheski, Clerk Perry and President Morgan were recorded present. When asked if there were changes to the agenda, Dr. Glass said there were none and a board member moved to adopt the agenda. The board voted 5-0 to approve it.
The board then announced it would adjourn to closed session to discuss three items: conference with labor negotiators under Government Code 54957.6; employee discipline, dismissal and release under Government Code 54957; and approval of insurance claim No. 669242. Clerk Perry reported there were no public speaker cards on the closed-session topics before the board recessed.
The open portion of the meeting concluded with the board moving into closed session; the transcript does not record further public action from the open meeting.
