The Rev program coordinator reviewed the summer workshop wrap‑up and told the EDA that the team tested two CRM products built for economic development outreach. After demos, the coordinator said Executive Pulse appeared more cost‑effective and better matched their needs than the other option, Source Link.
She said the CRM demos showed features for tracking individual businesses, keeping meeting notes and creating business profiles and that some remaining Rev grant funds could pay for a startup fee and monthly subscription. The coordinator told the group that initial quotes indicated an up‑front fee of a few thousand dollars and monthly fees of a couple hundred dollars, and she said she would obtain formal quotes.
Councilors pressed for concrete budget numbers and asked whether the city could prepay multi‑year subscriptions to reduce cost. Staff confirmed that a CRM purchase would be a city contract subject to council approval and that monthly subscriptions would need to be accommodated in regular budget cycles.
The coordinator said she would provide detailed budget numbers and a procurement path to the council for consideration. No contract award or binding procurement decision was made at the meeting.
