Pulaski board approves open‑enrollment space, personnel report and moves to closed session

The consent agenda was adopted by unanimous consent. Administration then presented required annual open‑enrollment space determinations; after discussion the board moved and seconded a motion to approve the annual space‑available determinations for open enrollment and the motion carried.
The personnel report listed four retirements — Paula Goen (Sunnyside counselor), Paula Vander Lindon (counselor), Jane Henderman (Glen Brook kindergarten teacher) and Steven Blackford (high‑school science teacher) — and the board approved the personnel report by motion.
Near the end of the meeting the board voted to enter closed session pursuant to Wisconsin statute 19.85(1)(c) to discuss administrative contracts. The motion to move into closed session was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board also received the December budget report; the business manager noted early state reimbursement numbers for special education aid were lower than budgeted (initial figures showed about 35% vs. a budgeted 42%), creating a projected aid shortfall to monitor during budget work this spring.
The board scheduled its next regular business meeting for Feb. 18 and said the administration will return with refined facilities scopes and proposed survey questions for public review.
