CUSD 201 to move meeting records to Diligent platform; district schedules town halls and committee meetings

Shannon, a district staff member, described the timeline and public‑access implications: “We will be starting on Diligent. May 1st is our rollover date. So BoardDocs will no longer be really available to the public, but all the meetings will now be found in Diligent,” she said, adding that staff will produce a short how‑to video for residents and that committee agendas and meeting materials will also be consolidated on the portal.
Shannon said the vendor had already migrated meetings back to August of the prior school year and that the remaining materials would be brought over after BoardDocs is closed out; she urged the public to contact district staff for minutes or documents during the brief transition.
The board’s PR committee reported increased social‑media engagement since August and previewed outreach plans to reach residents who do not have students in the district, including mailers and community events. The committee also announced facility capital‑planning town halls at Westmont Village Hall on April 28 at 5:30 p.m. (in person) and April 29 at 6:30 p.m. (Zoom), with presentation materials to be posted on the district portal.
Separately the athletic committee announced a May 13 meeting at Westmont High School to collaborate with coaches and athletic directors on program recommendations.

The platform migration is scheduled to go live May 1; staff said members of the public who need documents from the recent six‑month window may contact the district while migration completes.
