The City Plan Commission approved a reconsideration request for the Norgosa subdivision that grants waivers to previously proposed right-of-way dedications.
Ismael Segovia, chief planner for subdivisions, said the plat was previously approved but waivers required clarification after a presentation and staff report produced conflicting messages. The applicant requested a waiver to reduce a 20-foot right-of-way dedication along Pell to 13.5 feet, producing a 6.5-foot dedication to the city to allow the roadway to continue.
Segovia said staff met with the applicant to resolve the confusion and recommended approval of the reconsideration. Applicant Enrique Ayala of CA Consulting told commissioners he agreed with staff comments. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the waivers by voice vote.
Staff noted that the reconsideration addresses the inconsistency between the earlier presentation and the staff report; the commission's approval advances the matter per staff conditions.
