The board approved minutes from March meetings and the February 2026 financial report on voice votes recorded as 5–0 and 4–0, respectively. Following an executive session on superintendent applicants, the personnel agenda was approved by voice vote, 4–0.
The consent agenda included fundraisers, out‑of‑state/overnight trips, field trips, facility uses, cybersecurity equipment purchases under a government discount program, and a behavioral health services expenditure using House Bill 68 funds. The behavioral‑health item funds ESC Networks for licensed in‑person and telehealth supports at $56,000 with an additional $20,000 allocated to an indigent care co‑pay assistance fund to ensure access irrespective of insurance status.
The board also approved continued FY27 support for the Lee County Library System in the amount of $85,525, an increase of $2,155 from the prior year. All motions cited at the April meeting passed on recorded voice votes (4–0 or 5–0 where noted).
Board members were provided with consent‑agenda materials and contract summaries in advance and were invited to ask questions during the meeting. The board did not take action beyond the items presented.
