City of Frankfurt to place stop-work order; drainage board agrees to release its order for Rissy's Addition

Clinton County staff and the drainage board discussed Rissy’s Addition (Seventh Section) on April 21 and were told the City of Frankfurt plans to place a stop-work order by about April 24 to address elevation/aesthetic problems unrelated to drainage.
Liz, speaking for the city, summarized an April 17 coordination meeting and said the city will send letters to the developer explaining options to move forward and will include the surveyor’s office in plan revisions. She asked the drainage board to make clear that a release of the board’s stop-work order would be based on the city’s placement of a stop-work order, not as an indication that the subdivision is in compliance with previously approved drainage elevations or subdivision designs.
The surveyor and Dan said the subdivision’s drainage system should function as designed, with swales collecting water to a lower basin, and the board voted to accept the city terms and release its stop-work order once the city has placed one. The board noted it would remain available for reinspection of items the city approves.
