Beaufort County announced that a 15-member Transportation Advisory Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at the Burton Wells Recreation Center, 1 Middleton Recreation Drive, County host Matt Golden said.
According to the bulletin, the committee was chosen to engage the community and guide investments to meet growing transportation needs. The announcement singled out likely project types: road widenings, intersection improvements, resurfacing and paving to enhance safety, mobility and connectivity across the county. The committee’s recommendations are due to County Council on Monday, May 11.
