The Brainerd City committee voted to implement staff’s revised solicitation for pool engineering services, which limits individual contracts to a maximum of $500,000 and shortens the term to two years.
BPU director Sandy said the edits reflect council feedback from Jan. 20. Sandy told the committee the solicitation was taken to the public utilities commission and the park board on Jan. 27, and both bodies recommended moving it forward. The committee moved to solicit interested engineering firms for the 15 pool categories as described in the updated document and the motion carried on voice vote.
