Administrators said the amended budget will be displayed online and that staff will "tweak" the display copy before returning a final version to the board in June. The board set the budget hearing and review for June 16 at 5:45 p.m. and approved that date and time by motion and voice vote.
Board members noted the 30-day display requirement and said they prefer to avoid calling a special meeting, so the June meeting will include the required budget review. The board indicated more detailed budget documents will be available at the June session when the board votes on the amended budget.
