Lincoln County commissioners approved the Prairie View Acres Third Subdivision after planning staff confirmed that typographical errors in the preliminary plat had been corrected on the final plat.
Judy Clark, Lincoln County Planning Administrator, presented the preliminary and final plat, maps and review comments. The proposed action adds approximately 1.26 acres to an existing 1.08‑acre lot at 291 East Old Barn Road, and the final plat indicates no new structures are allowed within a mapped tower fall zone. Clark told the board the county Planning Commission approved the preliminary and final subdivision on April 14, 2026 with minor typographical changes that have since been corrected.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the legal descriptions and the prior improper filing by legal description only; Clark explained that the final plat will carry the corrected legal description (Lot 1, Prairie View Acres Third Subdivision) when filed and that the county will file the corrected final legal record.
A motion to approve the subdivision as presented was moved and seconded and the board recorded a roll‑call vote in favor. Staff will complete final filing steps and notify the applicant of the county’s action.
The board described the matter as straightforward given Planning Commission review and staff recommendation and thanked planning staff for clarifying the legal description.
