The Radnor Township School District board on April 21, 2026, approved several governance appointments and passed the consent agenda after removing one personnel item for follow‑up.
The board voted to appoint Tracy Carowski, Lutonia Lee, Barbara Harvey, Bob Hornberger and Wadidia Ivory to the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) Board of Directors for terms running July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029. The motion was moved and seconded and carried with seven votes in favor, one abstention and one absence.
The board also voted to reappoint Bernice Clark Dixon to the Delaware County Community College Board of Trustees; that motion passed with eight votes in favor and one absence.
During review of the consent agenda, a board member flagged a missing salary number for Joanne Bowman, listed as the summer program administrative assistant in section 16.01. "There's a dollar figure, but there's no actual number," a board member said while asking that the item be pulled so the correct salary can be added. The board approved the remainder of the consent agenda items and agreed to return the personnel appointment for action at a later meeting after the figure is clarified.
Board procedural notes: committee chairs reported routine committee business earlier in the meeting, including discussion of contracts and budget items that appear elsewhere on the district agenda. The board adjourned after final announcements and a short public comment from Robera Winters.
The approved appointments take effect July 1, 2026; the pulled personnel item will return to the board once the missing salary information is provided.
