The Brainerd City Personnel & Finance Committee on May 19 ratified the hiring of Trevor Hines as the city’s technology specialist and accepted the resignation of line worker Dylan Ferrari.
HR Director Chris Schubert said the city received 24 applications for the technology specialist posting and offered the position to Trevor Hines, who will begin on May 21 at step one. The committee ratified the hire by voice vote.
The committee also accepted the resignation of line worker Dylan Ferrari; Ferrari’s last working day will be May 26. The committee accepted the resignation "with regret" and authorized staff to begin the hiring process to backfill the position.
