The City of Brainerd Personnel and Finance Committee on Aug. 4 authorized the sale of retired police squad 432 and approved using Enterprise Fleet Management to facilitate the sale and lease a replacement vehicle.
Chief John Davis (Brainerd Police Department) said squad 432 is one of the department’s last owned vehicles and that the department plans to replace it with a leased vehicle through Enterprise Fleet Management. He recommended using the same vendor to handle the sale of the retired unit.
A motion to authorize the sale was moved and seconded and carried on a voice vote. The transcript records no roll‑call or individual vote tallies.
The committee took the action as part of regular fleet management and replacement planning.
