South Fayette recognizes Dr. Matt Collison as PETC Technology Administrator of the Year

The South Fayette Township SD board recognized Dr. Matt Collison for being named Technology Administrator of the Year at the PETC conference in Hershey.
Board members and colleagues highlighted Collison’s work as the district’s innovation and strategic partnership director, including efforts to expand hands-on, future-focused learning and build real-world partnerships for students. One nominator, high-school educator AJ Manorino, described Collison as “one of the most genuine, supportive, and forwardthinking leaders” they have worked with; Lynette Lorts praised his leadership as “rooted not only in innovation, but in care for students, for staff, and for the growth of teaching and learning across our district.”
“It's an honor to receive this award,” Collison said, thanking colleagues and the administrative team and noting his gratitude for working with “amazing people” and “the amazing teachers that we have on staff.” He said he feels privileged to support teachers and students and that the award reflected their collaborative work.
No board action was required for the recognition. The tribute took place during the meeting’s opening announcements and celebration items.
