Wilson CSD approves personnel moves, fundraiser and confirms budget hearing and vote dates

By voice vote the board approved Superintendent Tim Carter’s recommendation to continue administrative leave with pay for employee number 70, accepted substitute teacher appointments for Holly Bishop, Lily Olay and Riley Robinson, and carried several consent-agenda items listed as B through G for the April 21 agenda. The board also approved a conference request for Morgan Taylor to attend the Family Engagement Conference on April 22 in Amherst, N.Y., and a middle-school student council fundraiser to sell hanging flower baskets from April 23 through May 7, 2026.
"All those in favor?" the board chair asked during each vote; transcript records show the motions were moved, seconded and the chair announced "Motion carried," but no roll-call tallies were recorded in the meeting transcript.
Superintendent Carter announced the district's budget hearing will be held May 12 at 6:30 p.m. (preceding the board meeting), and the budget vote will take place May 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the district foyer. Carter also reported that three petitions were filed for the school board ballot and that lots were drawn to set the order of names: Timothy Crop, Loretta Clark and RJ Seager; candidate bios will be posted to the district website later in the week and a League of Women Voters 'meet the candidates' night is planned for May 5 from 5 to 7 p.m.
