At a regular Planning Commission meeting, commissioners approved multiple consent‑agenda plats, granted a first‑time extension for Hakuna Matata Park, and approved a half‑street construction waiver for the Marabella subdivision.
Staff presented the consent agenda, beginning with the Ralph W. Leonard subdivision (Block C, Lots 12–D). Commissioner Salara moved to approve consent items 2, 3 and 4 as presented by staff; the motion was seconded and passed on a voice vote with no opposition recorded.
On item 5, Andrew with Development Services recommended approval of a first‑time extension for Hakuna Matata Park (Block One, Lot One). The commission opened public comment, heard none, and approved the extension on a voice vote.
On item 6, after staff presentation and questions about drainage and future right‑of‑way dedication, commissioners voted to approve the Marabella subdivision half‑street waiver. Staff said technical conditions including stormwater design, inlets and right‑of‑way tie‑ins will be enforced during plan review and permitting.
No director’s report was given and the commission adjourned.
