The presentation included construction progress photos and a status update: temporary occupancy has been granted for the new baseball/softball concessions and restrooms and boosters have been able to use the concession space for scrimmages. Staff noted some permanent items remain backordered (doors and some exterior finishes) and estimated the upper field turf completion sometime in spring 2026. The boosters have procured a concession trailer and staff are evaluating electrical hookups and placement.
The board approved placing the contingency funds into a purchase order so the district can address remaining change orders through October without adding to the overall project authorization. The approval was recorded by roll call.
