Chair Jason Roudabush presided as the board (Vice‑Chair Jacki Bolen and Member Jeff Tindle) opened and closed a public hearing on the amendment at 8:45 a.m.; Auditor Melissa Eilander told the board the Auditor’s office received no public comments and no members of the public attended. The board voted 3–0 to adopt Resolution #2026‑43, authorizing the Chair to sign the Record of Hearing and Adoption of Budget Amendment. The motion was moved by Jeff Tindle and seconded by Jacki Bolen.
The resolution lists line‑by‑line appropriation changes. Highlights include an increase to Service Area 0 – Capital Projects of $3,071,000 (raising the total for capital projects from $5,172,000 to $8,243,000), which contains a $350,000 increase for Conservation Land Acquisition & Development and a $2,721,000 increase for Other Capital Projects. Service Area 1 – Public Safety & Legal Services increased by $18,000 (including a $18,000 increase for the Medical Examiner). Service Area 3 – Physical Health and Social Services rose by $9,800 (Veterans Affairs +$8,000; General Services to Veterans +$1,800). Service Area 9 – Administration increased by $68,000 (Other Policy & Administration +$68,000). Non Program Current was increased by $3,418.
The board also approved vendor claims and payments as presented during the meeting; the claims list is filed with the county minutes. The meeting minutes record motions approving the agenda and April 27, 2026 minutes earlier in the session.
The Record of Hearing and Resolution #2026‑43 are signed by Chair Jason Roudabush and attest by Auditor Melissa Eilander. The amendment was adopted on April 30, 2026.
