"This is grant funding from the MPCA, related to flood‑related activities from last year," he said.
The upgrade request was included as a resolution on page 23 of the meeting packet. Mayor Noel thanked Water Resources Superintendent Curtis Thompson for securing the grant and said, "I think residents should feel really good about how often our staff seek grant opportunities for items like this." The council approved the resolution by roll call.
