Board adopts two resolutions, approves minutes and planner's report; no public comment

The Zoning Board of Adjustment at its April 22 meeting adopted two resolutions, approved meeting minutes and the board's 2025 planner's report, and adjourned.
Resolution 2607, covering 45 Roosevelt Boulevard, was read and a motion to adopt it was made, seconded and approved by roll call. Resolution 2608, for Daniel and Annette Hawkin-Josh at 56 Forest Avenue, was adopted after board members noted an internal reference (26-07) required correction; the board approved the resolution with that correction.
Members also approved the minutes of the March 25, 2026 meeting by roll-call vote. The board reviewed and approved the 2025 annual planner's report; the report contains no recommendations, and the board recorded that it would forward the report as prescribed. During discussion members noted the planner's observations about detached garages (the planner referenced a 500-square-foot threshold and concerns about conversion of oversized garages to uses not permitted under the zoning), but the board did not make substantive changes to the report.
The meeting included no public comments on non-agenda items and concluded after a motion to adjourn. Informal remarks followed the official adjournment.
