St. Peter council approves consent agenda, youth MOU and senior‑services report

On new business, the council authorized final payment for the Roy T. Lindenburgg Pool Complex painting project — staff said the project was completed to specifications and the payment is about $51,000 funded by an equipment certificate. Council also approved renewal of a memorandum of understanding with School District 508 for youth development programming; staff said the city receives roughly $12,000 for the season but cautioned that the amount has not changed materially over many years and that funding pressures could affect service levels in the future.
The council approved two new tree‑worker licenses (Grant Sergeant, Sergeants LLC; Brandon Kenyon, 507 Outdoor Services) after background checks and accepted a consultant’s senior citizen community conversation report and report card; staff said the documents will be posted on the city website and shared with partner organizations for follow‑up. All items passed by recorded votes.
