Memorial Day Walk of Honor Parade: The council approved city assistance for the American Legion Post 37 Walk of Honor parade in Minnesota Square Park and clarified the event is limited to Legion units rather than a multi-float parade.
Closed sessions: The council approved two executive/closed sessions to discuss potential real-estate transactions at 2110 Klein Street and 1225 South Washington. Staff said the council would return only to adjourn after the closed sessions; council recessed at 7:24 p.m.
