Council adjourns after work session; no formal votes on major items
Summary

After presentations and discussion on a range of work-session items, the East Grand Forks City Council voted to adjourn at the end of the June 24, 2025 meeting.
Council member Bill Helms moved to adjourn; a second was offered by Riappel. "All in favor say I," the president called; the council responded and the motion passed without recorded opposition. No other formal votes were recorded at the work session: the Blue Peak Fiber presentation, the draft audit review, the proposed ISD 595 lease recommendation, the lift-station heater quote, the Griggs Park memorial sign request and the 2025 deer management plan were presented and discussed but not adopted at this meeting.
Staff will bring any items that require formal council action (for example, the franchise agreement with Blue Peak or a procurement ordinance for the heater) to a future regular meeting for a recorded vote.
