Policy updates: Trustees completed second readings and advanced or adopted multiple revisions to board policies and administrative regulations to reflect new state laws cited during the meeting, including updates tied to AB721, SP956, AB2968 and SB88 (matters such as design‑build contracting publication methods, debt issuance reporting, refuge shelter procedures and transportation provider attestations). Other fiscal actions: The board adopted a resolution assigning delinquent tax receivables to the California Statewide Delinquent Tax Finance Authority (fiscal years ending 2026–2028) and proclaimed Administrative Professionals Week (April 19–26, 2026).
