Delavan council approves $1.48M street contract, library work and several licenses in unanimous votes

The Delavan Common Council approved a slate of procurement contracts, licenses and appointments during its meeting, advancing infrastructure, library and public-safety purchases and authorizing several routine resolutions and appointments.

Notable approvals included a $1,482,641.62 contract award to Wolf Paving of Hortonville, Wisconsin, for the 2026 Street and Utility Improvements with a 2% contingency to cover scope changes; council approved the award by roll call. The council also approved engineering services with Strand Associates for the new elevated storage tank final design and bidding services at a cost of $95,500 and authorized several library-related contracts: an amendment to FEH Design’s architectural services for the Eager Public Library (to be signed upon USDA approval), a camera and key-fob entry system from Midwest Security Incorporated for $42,046, and a fire alarm system from Milwaukee Alarm Company for $79,100.
