Separately, the planning board announced that a pending public hearing was being carried without further notice to May 4, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the board’s usual meeting location at the applicant’s request. Meeting participants noted the board has extensions of time to act as needed.
The board opened the public comment period and recorded that no members of the public spoke; the session was immediately closed.
The board and staff indicated an objector had not yet confirmed attendance but that communications, including email exchanges, were occurring. No formal action on the cannabis license was taken at this meeting; that decision remains with the township committee.
