Broadview trustees approve FY27 budget, appoint building commissioner and authorize $10,550 settlement

The board approved payment of the warrants by roll call vote (carried 5–0 at the initial vote where Trustee Miller was absent and later approvals show full-board concurrence).
Personnel: Trustees moved to appoint Dr. Peter R. Rulvic as Building Commissioner to replace a retiring commissioner. Trustees who met him described enforcement and leadership experience; the appointment passed by roll call 6–0. Rulvic was sworn in and said he would begin duties immediately.
Closed-session settlement: After convening in closed session to discuss probable litigation, the board reconvened and approved a resolution authorizing execution of a settlement agreement with Lechner and Sons, Inc. in the amount of $10,550 by roll call 6–0.
