Committee approves substitutes and sets March 31 calendar for several Senate bills

The committee moved multiple bills forward and set the calendar for March 31 (day 39). Members approved a room substitute for Senate Bill 406 (LC 492879S) after a motion and second. Substitute language was also approved for several other measures over the course of the session, including SB 552 (LC 492860S), SB 515 (LC 443572S) and SB 587 (LC 600368S).
At the end of the session the chair read a slate of measures to be placed on the calendar: House Resolution 1445 and Senate Bills 111, 402, 406, 447, 458, 501, 515, 552, and 587 were moved to be "on" the calendar. The chair apologized for continuing technical difficulties, asked members to watch floor announcements, and adjourned the meeting.
