MPO staff told the Technical Advisory Committee on April 22 that Bloomington Transit has scheduled three public comment sessions to solicit feedback on proposed Route 16 service changes, which consolidate portions of existing routes into a roughly 90‑minute loop intended to boost ridership.
The meetings are: Monday, May 4, 5–6 p.m. at Ivy Tech State College Lampkin Hall; Wednesday, May 6, noon–1 p.m. at Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation’s Downtown Transit Center (301 South Walnut Street); and Thursday, May 7, 4–5 p.m. at the same downtown location. Staff asked members to note the dates in the packet and direct constituency questions to Bloomington Transit for route-specific details.
