"His knowledge and background has been a great asset," a staff presenter said, thanking Tom for his service. The commission moved to accept Tom's resignation and to authorize civil service to post the vacancy internally; the motion passed by roll-call vote.
Other operational updates included closure of the 2024 equipment/materials accounts, 50% completion of 2025 equipment deliveries, preparatory work for upcoming bids (pre-bid April 8, bid opening April 24), and plans to install a 6-inch meter and temporary water service to support a campground opening on May 9.
