Judiciary committee schedules further work on S193 and other bills

At the end of the April 22 session, committee leaders said they would prepare a revised draft (version 3.1) of S193 incorporating the day's suggestions and distribute proposed statutory language ahead of the next meeting.
The committee chair said a recidivism-related amendment would be on the action calendar the following day and that bill 208 had a new version posted for later discussion; Todd Dalos was scheduled to address a one-paragraph Attorney General item related to bill 209. Committee staff also planned a brief introduction to a relinquishment study group's recommendations; the committee did not expect to take up active statutory language for that topic during the next meeting.
