Tama County approves DOT preconstruction agreement for rumble panels at T-47 after correcting cost estimate

Supervisor Heather Knebel then moved to approve the preconstruction agreement with an amendment to Exhibit B to reflect $700 per panel ($1,400 total for two panels); Curt Hilmer seconded and the board voted unanimously to approve.
The board recorded that the work will not be reimbursed by the DOT and accepted the lower per-panel amount in Exhibit B as the documented basis for authorization. The chair and auditor were authorized to sign the agreement so the project can move into preconstruction.
