The Lemoore City Council unanimously approved its consent calendar and separately approved the 2025 General Plan Annual Progress Report during its April 21 meeting.
Council Member Lions moved to approve the consent items (4-1, 4-3, 4-5, 4-6, 4-7, 4-8, 4-9, 4-10, 4-11 and 4-12); Council Member Brewster seconded. The roll call vote was five in favor, and the consent calendar passed. Consent items included multiple traffic-signal projects with associated budget amendments and acceptance of departmental monthly updates.
Item 4-2, the 2025 General Plan Annual Progress Report, was pulled for discussion. Council discussed clarifying implementing actions and suggested staff note housing-element work, pedestrian access (including outreach to local school districts regarding a pedestrian bridge), and other council-prioritized edits to the status comments. Council Member Gornick moved approval of item 4-2, Council Member Cruz seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
Council asked staff to incorporate the feedback into future progress reports and to use the incoming general-plan update process to address longer-term priorities.
No public objections or legal protests were recorded during the votes; both motions carried unanimously.
