Staff also reported several small mural grants, primarily in the Tamiami area, and said the CRA has arranged to partner with the city to use CDBG and SHIP funds for roof and window repairs in central Tamiami. The staff member said the CRA will follow the state's SHIP policy for the matched portion and will provide an updated grant analysis to the board.
Chris told the board that the incentives program approved on the consent agenda requires modification to some percentages and payout timing, and that a revised incentives proposal will be brought back in June. The board did not amend or adopt new incentives at the April meeting; staff said the June return will include recommended changes.
The meeting's consent agenda was approved unanimously before these updates; staff reminded the board that interdepartmental budget applications create an audit trail and that budget workshops are the appropriate venue for detailed departmental requests.
