Instructional materials (Action 7C): The board approved the selection and purchase of K–5 ELA (HMH Into Reading Texas), high-school geometry and Algebra II materials and ratified the Certification of Provision of Instructional Materials survey; motion carried 4–0. Staff will submit the survey to TEA by May 1.
Easements and resolutions (Items 9A–9D): The board adopted resolutions conveying utility easements: a 0.273-acre easement to Texas Water Company (9A), a 0.040-acre easement to Texas Water Company (9B), and a 0.967-acre stormwater/wastewater easement to Meer Ranch MUD (9C) — each passed by 4–0. The board also approved a permanent water easement to San Antonio Water System (9D); that resolution passed with a 3–1 vote.
No other items required board action in open session; the board recessed to closed session under Texas Government Code provisions and later reconvened in open session before adjourning at 10:11 p.m.
