Commissioners said the revised placement and scale will fit the deep lot and approved the plan "as presented."
Methodist Church windows: The Geneva United Methodist Church received approval to replace aging Pella aluminum‑clad windows with Marvin Ultimate aluminum‑clad units. The church asked, late in the process, to substitute fixed window units with simulated divided lights because a new geothermal system made operable windows unnecessary. Commissioners asked staff to ensure the exterior check‑rail profile matches the existing profile; once clarified they voted to approve the revised, fixed simulated‑divided‑light windows.
Staff reports and preservation programming: Staff said ten administrative permits were approved in the last month (landscaping, fences, patios, signs) and noted the survey and residential grant were adopted the previous night and will be posted online.
