At its April meeting, the Perrysburg Exempted Village School District board approved a slate of personnel actions including continuing contracts for several teachers, an administrative hire, and a tentative labor agreement.
Administrators recommended continuing contracts for multiple educators across the district, including Tiffany Keterman (intervention specialist), Julia Lark (reading teacher), Courtney Sparks (speech-language pathologist) and Emily White (first-grade teacher). The board approved the nominations by roll call after administrators detailed each candidate’s credentials and contributions.
The board also considered an administrative contract for Dr. Brad Kat (presented as executive director of human resources). The incoming superintendent, Mike Eim, introduced Dr. Kat’s background and recommended board approval. Board members voted to approve the contract by roll call.
On labor relations, the board authorized a master agreement between the district and the local bargaining unit listed in the packet (recorded in the minutes as Oopsy Local 242) covering July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. Administrative staff noted the board’s approval was contingent on one outstanding signature; the board voted to approve the agreement pending that final signature.
All votes on personnel and the tentative labor agreement were taken by roll call and recorded as affirmative by the board members present.
