Bracken County accepts $744,615 road‑aid agreement and approves routine financial transfers

"The dollar amount that Bracken County will be receiving is $744,615," the judge said when presenting the agreement. Motions to approve the resolution and the written agreement were moved and seconded and carried on roll‑call votes.
Following the road‑aid items, the court approved a series of routine fiscal items on motion and roll call: the general fund budget transfer, multiple interfund cash transfers (including the jail fund, senior citizens fund and dispatch/911 fund) and vendor claims in the general, road, jail, senior citizens and dispatch funds. Each action was moved, seconded and carried with the yes votes recorded by name.
The court asked county staff to forward the signed agreement to the Transportation Cabinet and to distribute final budget documents to magistrates ahead of the May 1 deadline for budget review.
