Board approves right‑of‑way dedication for Crabtree Subdivision in Muncie

She identified parcel addresses as 2609 South Macedonia and 1624 East 20th Street and said the west parcel is vacant and will receive a new house. Plat‑committee approval had already been obtained, Benice said.
A board member moved and seconded the dedication; the motion carried. City staff will record the dedication so the right‑of‑way becomes part of the city’s maintained streets.
Next steps: staff will complete administrative recording of the plat and add the dedicated right‑of‑way to the city inventory so construction on the new lot may proceed under normal permitting processes.
