The measure also requires proof of title and registration and restricts recreational-vehicle parking on multi-family properties.
A public hearing was opened and closed with no substantive public opposition at the meeting; a resident asked whether ambulances would be impacted and staff said they would not. Commissioners said the new language resolves ambiguity found in earlier drafts and that the intent is to allow lawful, non-occupancy parking while preserving neighborhood character. The ordinance passed first reading on a unanimous vote.
