Nancy said staff had allowed short extensions for signings and praised the coordinated administrative effort.
On community programing, staff reported El Pomar contributions: $15,000 annually for two years to Bright Futures for early‑childhood mental‑health educator training, and a $5,000 pledge to support Telluride Senior Meals as Tri‑County assumes meal operations. The county is pursuing additional congregate‑space funding with Region 10 for senior meal space.
Veterans services were also updated: a vehicle and driver application to the state veterans’ division is pending; staff secured $10,000 in pledged support from El Pomar if the state award is partial, enabling procurement of a reliable vehicle for veteran transport regardless of the state outcome.
Staff noted progress on an interactive online map showing deed‑restricted rental and ownership units, which will initially show counts of rental and ownership units with potential to expand to unit‑level details (bedroom counts) over time. The county is completing EV charger installations in Norwood and Ilium and plans a boiler replacement in July.
Commissioners praised the coordination and asked staff to consider a public release to highlight the administrative work in the deed‑restriction process. No formal board action was required for these operational updates.
