Neptune Beach — On April 20, 2016, the City Council approved first reading of Ordinance No. 2026-05, a budget amendment for fiscal year 2025–26 that authorizes the purchase of a vehicle not included in the adopted budget and makes associated interfund transfers and accounting entries.
The ordinance amends the operating budget for the city and increases general fund appropriations for capital outlay while authorizing an interfund transfer from a special revenue fund to the general fund. No members of the public signed up to speak on the ordinance at the first-reading hearing.
A motion to approve the ordinance on first reading was made during the session and the clerk called the roll; Council recorded unanimous affirmative responses from those present. The council set the ordinance for first reading and a public hearing to follow the ordinance process.
