Council members asked whether the county levies for transit include Brainerd and raised questions about how historic percentages have shifted; Abigor said shares have fluctuated but that he will confirm county levy inclusion and finalize numbers.
An employee identified as a Mindot employee (transcript) abstained from the roll call on the item. The committee carried the motion to approve the resolution.
Staff said the city has entered similar agreements in prior years and that the resolution authorizes staff to enter into the grant agreement with MDOT pending final confirmation of percentages and any county levy details.
