The commenter said they have fostered many animals and believes "this is our 11th one we have now," using that experience to encourage others to foster. They framed fostering as a way to save individual dogs and to "empty[] a kennel," creating space for other animals in need.
On logistics, the commenter said fosterers typically are provided necessary supplies: "When you foster, they'll give you everything you need." They added that fostering usually requires no out-of-pocket cost unless the fosterer chooses to pay for extras.
The commenter gave listeners direct instructions on how to apply: "You would just go to the Wake County Animal Center website, fill out a foster application, and then you would be interviewed." They closed by reiterating the recommendation: "If you love animals, this is the place for you."
