The Vision Zero Community Advisory Committee unanimously ratified three actions taken at its Feb. 11, 2026 meeting after staff identified procedural steps that had been missed, the committee chair said.
At the start of the April 15 meeting the chair explained that three items '1C on the agenda '14needed ratification to ensure compliance with the Arizona open-meeting law. Committee member Randy moved to ratify approval of the Oct. 22, 2025 minutes; committee member Joe seconded. The committee voted in favor and the chair called the motion passed. Identical motions and unanimous votes followed to ratify the Dec. 10, 2025 minutes and the committee's 2026 meeting schedule.
The chair told members these motions were parliamentary steps to validate actions previously taken and were not intended to amend the substance of those earlier votes. Later in the meeting the committee also approved the Feb. 11, 2026 meeting minutes by unanimous vote.
No public comment opposed the ratifications. The committee moved on to informational items after the votes.
The committee will return to substantive agenda items later in the year; any future requests relating to crosswalk policy or other operational matters can be placed on future agendas at the chair's direction.
