CRA advisory board reappoints Mary Waller as chair and Anthony Matanti as vice chair

At the Feb. 23 advisory board meeting, members re-nominated and voted to keep Mary Waller as chair and Anthony Matanti as vice chair. Both accepted the nominations and the motions passed by voice votes.
The Community Redevelopment Agency advisory board reappointed its current leadership during its Feb. 23 meeting.
Member Shukart nominated keeping the current leadership in place; Mary Waller accepted the nomination to remain chair, and Anthony Matanti accepted re-nomination to remain vice chair. The motions to elect each were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; members present said "Aye." There were no recorded nay or abstain votes.
The chair and vice chair will continue to preside while the advisory board completes its recommendation to the CRA board on 2026 performance measures. The advisory board’s nominations and votes were procedural and internal to the advisory board; the actions do not create or alter CRA policy.
Next step: staff will record the leadership election in the advisory board minutes and proceed with the administrator’s report and the recommended motion to the CRA board.
