Delaware County commissioners approve claims, transfers and multiple fund apportionments

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners voted April 7 to approve a slate of vendor claims, monthly reports and multiple budget transfers and apportionments spanning General, County Clerk, Health, Highway and special funds.

County Clerk-recorded claims included payments to vendors such as Pitney Bowes ($1,000 for postage), NEO Computers ($2,600 for IT services) and McCord Janitorial ($3,850 for janitorial services). The board also approved health and highway claims and noted several totals recorded in the minutes, including $266,548.74 and $564,604.85 among the approved line-item totals.

The board signed apportionments and transfers affecting Highway district personal services and M&O accounts, CIRB and PACT allocations, and many fire-department and special accounts (REAP grants and road/bridge funds were included). The meeting record shows multiple motions to transfer payroll and operating dollars for the Assessor and Sheriff to ensure salary accounts were funded through the fiscal year.
